Located throughout Greenbelt, common areas, playgrounds, inner-walkways,
and underpasses are part of the original town plan. Common areas
are enjoyed b y
children and adults playing, having picnics with neighbors,
or playing with and training their dogs. Many of the common
areas include playgrounds. Some of the playgrounds are designed
for toddlers while others appeal to all age groups. |
The
use of inner-walkways and underpasses minimizes pedestrians
having to cross streets. They also provide a delightful way
to walk through the community and to the historic town center.
The inner-walkways and underpasses are very popular with parents
walking their children from playground to playground and with
people walking dogs. |
